Mother’s Day is the perfect occasion to show your mum just how much she means to you. Join us for Brunch with the Bunch, sweet high tea styled morning tea or a special luncheon on our idyllic alpaca farm, where the serene countryside and gentle alpacas create the perfect setting for a day of love and appreciation. This day has been designed to provide your mum with a unique and heartfelt experience that goes beyond the ordinary!
The tours of the day we are offering this year are:
Brunch Tour
Start your day with meeting one of our llamas followed with a tour of our farm, then settle down for a home-styled cooked brunch with a tea, coffee or hot chocolate!
Morning Tea Tour
Have a sweet tooth? Then this tour is for you. Meet some of our happy herd before sitting down to enjoy a tray of a tray of sweet treats with a tea, coffee or hot chocolate; or a glass of Prosecco!
Lunch Tour
Looking to stay awhile? Book our Lunch Tour. Start the tour with learning about alpacas before going into our paddocks to meet our happy herd. Following the tour, settle and enjoy a yummy lunch!
Farm Tour
Love llamas? Adore alpacas? Then this tour is for you! Meet one our handsome llamas before visiting the rest of our happy herd. Finish your visit with a yummy afternoon tea with a tea, coffee or hot chocolate!

Live music during the day
Celebrate Mother’s Day at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm with a special live performance by 16-year-old Queanbeyan talent, Ruby Holden. Ruby, a 2024 graduate of the Junior Academy of Country Music, has been captivating audiences with her blend of country, pop, and folk music. Her journey includes winning the secondary category at the Australian National Busking Championships in Bombala and being honoured as Queanbeyan’s Young Citizen of the Year in 2023.
Ruby has recently returned from the Tamworth Country Music Festival and she is a regular performer at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra!
Join us for a delightful day of music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities amidst the picturesque backdrop of our farm. This year we have Mr Spud on the farm serving lots of yummy baked potatoes, nachos, loaded fries, chicken nuggets and chips plus lots more…

This year we will be having a food van on site serving very yummy Baked Potatoes, Nachos, Loaded Fries and Hot Chips!
This year, we are thrilled to announce that Mr. Spud Baked Potatoes will be joining us on the farm to make Mother’s Day even more special!
Scott and his team will be serving up their delicious menu, including:
- fully loaded baked potatoes
- crispy nachos
- chicken nuggets and fries
- loaded fries
- and so much more!
Whether you’re joining us for a farm tour or simply celebrating the day with a meal, there will be plenty of mouthwatering options to enjoy!
Food will be available throughout the day for all guests!
Baked Potato Menu includes:
- Traditional – butter, cheese, sour cream topped with shallots
- Hawaiian – butter, cheese, sour cream, pineapple topped with bacon
- The Clucky Spud – butter, cheese, sour cream, topped with chicken breast pieces and shallots

- Mr Bacon – butter, cheese, sour cream, dry slaw topped with beetroot
- The Hunger Buster – butter, cheese, sour cream, seasoned beef mince topped with corn chips and sweet chilli sauce
