Moving Feast
We are thrilled to be taking part in this year’s Makers of Murrumbateman Moving Feast – a celebration of food, wine, artisan craft and community in our beloved region. Join us at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm for a truly special offering that brings together paddock, produce and passion.
OUR FEAST MENU:
- SAVOURY: A trio of artisan milk bun sliders: juicy beef with cheese and house-made sauce, slow-cooked lamb with pickled cucumber and tzatziki, and spiced Mexican chicken with buttermilk slaw and smoky chipotle mayo. Served with a crisp cider.
- SWEET: Raspberry and vanilla bean sponge layered with passionfruit curd and Swiss meringue buttercream, topped with freeze-dried fruit and crisp meringue. Served with berry coulis, ice cream, and a glass of prosecco.
DETAILS:
- When: 4th and 5th October 2025.
- Feast Price: Savoury (entrée sized) dishes $30; dessert servings $25.
- Alpaca Tour Price: $25 for a hand feeding tour. 30 minutes in the paddock surrounding by our happy herd of alpacas and llamas eating from a bucket filled with tasty treats! No need to book – tours on the hour starting at 11.30 am.
