Casual Tour Guide

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused team player who is punctual, reliable, and enjoys working with people. You’ll be the face of the farm—welcoming visitors from near and far, leading tours out in the paddock, sharing your knowledge of our animals, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience (and probably a few alpaca selfies!).

The ideal candidate will be confident speaking to groups, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be comfortable working in a dynamic outdoor environment. We regularly host families, large tour groups, and visitors with diverse needs, including special needs groups, so excellent communication skills, patience, and adaptability are essential. No two days are ever the same, making this the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety and creating exceptional experiences for others.

Experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, education, or other public-facing roles is highly regarded.

Key accountabilities:
  • Hosting farm tours and alpaca/llama experiences
  • Assisting with event coordination and setup
  • Ensuring visitors have an exceptional experience
  • General farm presentation and operational support
  • Animal handling and care assistance
What we offer:
  • A unique and enjoyable workplace environment.
  • A varied role across administration, events, retail, hospitality and tourism.
  • Opportunity to grow with an expanding business.
  • Flexible additional hours during busy periods and events.
  • Supportive team environment in a beautiful rural setting.
